The Czech Garnet Museum is a unique exhibition of unique jewelry and objects decorated exclusively with Czech garnets. The collection represents a comprehensive cross-section of jewelry from the early days when Czech garnet began to be used in the production of jewelry, until the beginning of the twentieth century.
The Czech Grenade Museum also offers a meeting with the history of grenade mining in the Czech lands. You will get acquainted with localities and technologies of Czech grenade mining, methods of their grinding and further processing. For example, an old grinder from the middle of the 18th century can be seen. You will look into the history and current production of garnet jewelry of the Granát Turnov jewelery cooperative. You will also learn something about the energy effects of Czech grenades and their healing power.
The Czech Garnet Museum offers original period jewelry decorated with Czech garnets. including a certificate of origin and authenticity. As a souvenir, you can also buy original jewelry or gift items with Czech grenades from the workshop of the Granát Turnov cooperative.
